We are a small (approx. 40 runners) friendly running club who meet at the East Christchurch Sports and Social Club, BH23 4JD (mostly on Wednesdays - both lunchtime and evening) and also at local parkruns (Bournemouth, Moors Valley, Brockenhurst and Lymington).

Everyone is welcome, no matter what your standard, and all of the club events are designed to give all an equal chance to excel.

We organise two local races, the Hoburne 5 and the Christmas 10k. Other local road races can be found on Run Britain.

Race day is fast approaching, but there is still time to enter online and be one of the first to complete the new 5 mile course.

The start (11am) and finish are at Hoburne Holiday Park, Hoburne Lane, Christchurch, Dorset BH23 4HU


All finishers will get a goody bag and medaI and some lucky runners will get a spot prize!


Proceeds will go to the local charity Bournemouth Leukeamia Fund.

The race is organised by Christchurch Runners and is in accordance with UKA rules.

Paul Snell and Linda Dowell - the club's London Marathon runners this year (2017), with their medals at Lymington parkrun. Paul is also wearing his emergency £12 marathon shoes which he bought the previous evening !
